The Leadership Symposium is open to all Oregon and Washington CEOs. CEOs may also invite an additional staff or board member to attend at their discretion. From time to time topics may be of interest to more than one staff member at your credit union, and exceptions to this general rule will be delightfully granted if additional staff members will benefit from, round-out, and add to the discussion anticipated at the Symposium.

Regulatory Forum The regulatory forum gives attendees an opportunity to dialog with state regulators, and gives our regulators the opportunity to present new issues to the credit union community. It also gives the Association a chance to hear the biggest concerns of our members. Prize-Linked Savings Programs and its Longitudinal Effect on Member Savings Now that prize-linked savings programs have been in place in Michigan for a couple of years, are they having a long-term impact on consumer behavior? Filene Research Institute’s Denise Gabel will present the Institute’s latest research results and lead a discussion concerning how credit unions can use this information, and information on how credit unions could use other incentive-based savings programs. |

We’ve set aside time at this Leadership Symposium to foster communication and idea exchange through a table topics discussion. Each table will be assigned a topic chosen by participants and you’ll have the opportunity to choose topics that you’re interested in talking to your colleagues about. We’ll have some topics pre-chosen to kick-off the discussions, but if you have a burning issue, bring it! We’ll add it to a table and start a new discussion. |
